None of the current crop of youngsters will make the first team. Harsh, but probably fair.
The likes of Evans, Eagles, Martin & co have been knocking around a while now & haven't been good enough.
There's nobody who makes you think "He'll DEFINITELY make it" ...hopefully Welbeck will be the exception to the rule. He looks a good player & seems a decent lad as well.

The step-up in quality from reserve to First team level is £#%&!ing huge though.

in the contex of the original post you can.

Evans is no more likely to make it at United than any of the others mentioned, he's possible got a good career ahead of him but it won't be at a top 4 club i'm affraid.

I'd doubt it, he'll have a good career in the PL but he's not got enough to break into the first team and hold down a place.

He'll have to be better than Anderson, Nani, Giggs, Scholes, Carrick, Fletcher, Hargreaves and any other experrienced player Fergie decides to play in midfield.

He's a nice player & has great vision but he's a little on the slow side & does get injured a lot.
