The only thing I remember about your place was that there was loads of pitches there, somewhere just off the motorway. Thinking about it, it was Gregs 2nd XI that we played, their first XI were in the prem!! I see they are doing pretty well too at the moment - top of the Manchester Prem just in front of Prestwich Heys!!

Yeh. That was the University pitches. They are. Was there earlier on the season but Im moving on up now...out of the darkness

I guess you probably did play against my team then at some point, small world...... I was in fact the founder member of Fairfield. When I went to Totty United they folded!!

Still depends on who you play - if you face a team less capable than your team then you 4-3-3 if you face a team much better than you then 4-5-1 and if you face a team about the same then go 4-4-2.

Not rocket science is it?

Here's my league; I'm with NAFC (New Amsterdam Football Club) 2 Div

It's an over 30s league but it's not too bad a calibre.
