agree with the sentiment

although against that is his performances in Europe: he was involved in the Nou Camp 4-0 for starters. He then got himself suspended for the 2nd leg of the 97 semi, missed the 97/98 season, picked up one ridiculous booking and one cheap one to miss the CL final in 99, £#%&!ed up in the 2nd leg of the 2000 q/f (og & missed sitter), was poor the 01 Bayern games, was injured for 02 semi 1st leg and barely ready for the 2nd leg, and he was lost in Bernabeu the following season. His final act really was getting sent off in the last minute in Porto for standing on the keeper, causing him to miss the 2nd leg, although he did also take part in the defeats home and away to Milan in 04/05.
