No point in risking Rio in a pointless friendly, Giggs doesn't need to be used at all, the rest pick themselves. Big Tony has been at the Copa so a bit of rest for his foot after getting that kick, sorted.

Carrick's out is he? £#%&! sake. How thin does the midfield look with him out?

Boom! Jaffarers absolutely laces one in from a yard out

I think Ando will have a good game. For 35mins. Then keel over.

Ok fair enough. Sneijder or that Modric then. Carrick's out, Fletch not 100%, wouldn't risk Giggsy in this and I'm pretty sure the youngsters won't play.

They'll probably have Barry so it's only fair to match them with Gibson.

wingbacks are an option for some games, and were used fairly standardly in the PL in the 90s of course. full-backs pushed on are standard 4-4-2 fare throughout the history of modern football. full-backs playing from a high starting position is not the same thing as either of those, such as the tactics ferguson occasionally adopted for specific games during the mid 90s, for example. hth.

the note you made about Jones further highlights the fundamental weakness in your routine.
