but his shooting is woeful, his passing generally inconsistant and in the past, certainly, his positional play has been poor, getting better, but still not at the level i would expect from a first 11 player at United |

MyWeb Ma.gnolia Dimitar Berbatov advertisement Fergie backs Berb to strike form James Robson 16/ 1/2009 SIR Alex Ferguson is convinced Dimitar Berbatov will fire United through their impending striker crisis. The champions will be without Wayne Rooney for at least three weeks with a hamstring injury, while Carlos Tevez is also doubtful for Saturday's clash with Bolton. It is the last thing Ferguson needed, with his side struggling to find their scoring touch in recent weeks. They have had to rely on single-goal victories in three of their last four Premier League wins, a sequence that has moved them to within two points of leaders Liverpool. But the United manager believes Berbatov is nearing his best form since his £30.75m move from Tottenham at the start of the season. "I am especially pleased by Dimitar Berbatov's progress in settling into the team," said Ferguson. "When you pay a lot of money for a player he inevitably comes under close scrutiny. "It happened to Juan Sebastien Veron and Rio Ferdinand, and Dimitar has also suffered from the impatience of people when a new guy makes a big move. "At Tottenham he orchestrated most of their play, and if at times he has looked a bit isolated, it was because our players needed to adjust to him just as much as he has needed to learn our ways. "He has settled very well and I have the feeling that we are about to see the best of Berbatov." Rooney lasted only eight minutes of United's 1-0 win over Wigan on Wednesday before limping off, while Tevez picked up a knock which saw him struggle through the second half. |

Who would you play on the left then?
Nani? I'd rather play Park than Nani.... Giggs ? Sits deeper and deeper and hasnt the pace or engine of park anymore.... Tosic...? Not ready, May not even played there... Park is a quality player and he would be in my starting 11......its just an opinion. But Im Right a lot. |

While Hargreaves is out - Park would probably be in our strongest 4-4-2
If we're going more attacking like I suggest we should tomorrow, id have him on the bench given I think Giggs needs to start again. Fletcher to do the dirty work and Carrick to bring calm and stability as always. Ronaldo off the forwards seeing as we dont have someone to play out and out right. Tevez and Berbie pick themselves with Roon's injury. |
