At the start of the Season we all (myself included - I was bitter & angry at the time!) joked that he would score less goals than Owen....Well, the jokes on us really because Owen's actually scored more goals than Berbatov..& Owen's been a bit of a disaster.

The headshaking would make sense if Owen & Berbatov had flourished this season...& they certainly haven't done that.

I'd take Tevez over those 2 players every day of the week.

That run from richards was better than anything our midfielders do....

and the run from benjani was clever. basic but the right thing to do, something we'll never see berbatov do, rooney does it when he remembers his job and owen cant cos he's on the bench.

no run form richards, no run from benjani = no goal. thats what it boils down to.

none of our players make those defense splitting motions enough, its like our ballplayers want the ball to do all the work.

that was the most basic move in football, we tend to over complicate things with weaving runs, intricate passes and through balls or crosses from wide. all those things require more difficult passes and runs. just do the basics ffs.

It was a good run, but the fact the blackburn players didn't look remotely arsed about tackling him helped as well.
