Default Re: So what are we expecting on Sunday then?

I expect Fletcher on the right, Carrick and Anderson in the middle and Giggs on the left.

I don't mind if we don't score as long as they don't either.

Valencia can hold his own so I'd put him on the right.
Then again I don't really want a 442. It's flat and ineffective against the best.

is this the same chelsea that got beat by wigan? I think I was sleeping on the day it was decided they were the best team in the league again.

bring them on. we have nothing to lose at their place. fancy a sneaky win.

Apart from the game obviously.

I'd be happy with that lineup actually, didn't stifle us too much at Spurs (Carrick in for Scholes obviously) and despite Chelsea being far better than them I think it'd do well there too. If we did that mind, I'd maybe want Rafael at right back.

No reason why we can't go there and win.
They have looked better than us in every dept tbh. they are better upfront, miles ahead in midfield and on current form their defence is better than ours.

although you could make a case for VDS being better than cech

Do you want the 4-3-3 we played at home against arse instead?

Perhaps we should send a reserve team down, you know to stop our first teamers having their psyche's shattered by a hammering?

I think we'll do alright, we usually do OK at Stamford Bridge and have a good spell in the game, let's just hope Fergie doesn't £#%&! it up when we get on top. Was it last season when we got on top and Anderson was killing them down the middle and Fergie took Anderson off for O' Shea and then we was shit for the rest of the game?

Evans has to play, I feel we're more secure with him at the back.

If Fletcher is fit we will at least get a point.

Someone will get sent off. Probably Scholes for two bookings.

Yeah, Fletcher was on the bench on Saturday wasn't he?

For me Anderson has to play with Fletcher, Anderson is in good form and Fletcher has been out best midfielder this season, both of them can compete as well.

Yeah, i'd be happy with those two in the middle and Valencia wide, or Carrick and Anderson in the middle and Fletcher wide, with an attacking fullback.

It is rare that Ferguson goes with that combination as a two. I suspect, due to neither being great passers of the ball. Perhaps even more of an issue against Chelsea.

I think Anderson is making a case for that not being true, think his distribution is coming on very well.

If Fletcher and Anderson are not playing in a two or three man midfield we're all going to puke.

Chelsea are over hyped every season. All we hear at the start of the season from the papers etc is how nobody will be able to stop Chelsea, and usually theyh have a new manager, so we hear how 'JT' etc are really behind the new manager, they win their first few games, everybody waxes lyrical about them, then United win the league.

Oh and their manager gets sacked.
