Great shout. I'd have taken him last season. Would be a good addition to the squad if Park is moving on. Offers the same industry and work rate, but the Pie can actually control a football.

Yeah he's a very clever footballer, and never given a chance at Spurs. Seems happy at Everton and his linkup play with Baines is one of the main reasons they're on a decent run in the league at the moment.

'Arry's reluctance to play him and then loan him were inexplicable to me, especially given that they've been playing Modric on the left! Lovely goal today as well.

Yeah but Harry's a great manager etc etc.

He's £#%&!ed around with Kranjcar too, and he's a tidy player.

Another shout for Dempsey. He'd be brilliant as a fourth choice striker imo.

Great man manager too, except for when alienates 20-goals-a-season strikers like Darren Bent...

He's a lucky manager. If it hadn't been Assou-Ekotto picking up an injury, he was going to loan Gareth Bale to Nottingham Forest!

I always thought Torres looks like a Utd player, he plays the Utd way and would flourish here, he was out of place in mersedyside and I always wanted to see him up front with Rooney (and Ronaldo at the time).

Would piss off the scouse no end as well

Still potentially the best number 9 in the business. Needs a good manager and team mates.

Chelsea would be £#%&!ing mental to let him go now. Spent 50 million on the £#%&!er, he's only 28, and he's just starting to show signs of perhaps coming good.

No chance.

Anyway, this is the 'name someone who's had a good season' thread. So, Grant Holt and Rickie Lambert to bolster our attack.

It will transpire that we never actually exchanged money for Hargreaves and it was all a clever ploy to send Mancini mad. It will be like a new signing.

Default ...all a bit tame

..half these players are, come summer, actually non-controversial realistic transfer shouts.
