I've said this before on the topic of Scholes and Giggs, mainly Giggs really Scholes is still a good midfielder but not the Scholes of old, it will turn into another Keane situation where it's hard to let sentiment go and we persist with them, even catering for them. What's to say in the future we'll have 2 midfielders playing to help Scholes? At the moment it happens with Giggs, he seems Giggs can play anywhere he wants, literally just floats about. Giggs has been £#%&!ing woeful this season and some of last, if it wasn't Giggs he'd be getting crucified, imagine if Ronaldo was playing that bad? Or Rooney? Jesus Carrick has 2 bad games and he gets stick.

Personally I think it's a totally different situation. We didn't have 2 top class midfielders ready to take Keane's place as his career ended. With Scholes, when he is no longer worthy of a place we'll just play Carrick ad Hargreaves. That time isn't now.

Could somebody check to see if Scholes has a peg under one foot and a roller skate under the other? It might explain why he goes round in circles. hth

I hate it when he shrugs of opposition players and creates space for himself too. Why doesn't he just pass it to the opposition like a top player would?
