Gutted it's not on sky. Was looking forward to seeing Anderson and Nani tonight and Wellbeck.

These games are perfect for Nani and Anderson, especially Anderson to get fit and get use to the English game. I really do think we will go far this season in the League Cup playing a younger side. If we did get to the final I would stick with the younger lads. Like Wenger did last season, fair play to him, it would be easy to throw in the big guns, like Fergie did in 03 for the semi final and final but I'd like him to keep the lads who got us there to play if we got there.

I have a free ticket, I'm unsure as to whether I'll use it due to it being cold out.

Totally agree bedders, aside from his fitness, I don't see the point of potentially partnering Wellbeck with someone equally inexperienced, he'd get so much more partnering Rooney.

Simpson made some comments about tonights match too, I like this kids moxy.

If welbeck is starting I am excited. He is a typical Ljunberg player.

er, not from what I've seen of him.

To me, he looks like a lad incredibly comfortable on the ball, at ease no matter where he is on the pitch, and a lad with bucketloads of skill.I wouldn't have likened him to Ljungberg

It does seem an odd comparison to me too.

I'd be surprised to see him tonight tbh, even though I posted Fergies comments on the lad, I'd put money on our front two being Campbell and Dong.

Dong and Campbell? What a depressing thought.

Can't argue with that really, Dong is so............meh, and I haven't seen any of Campbell but from what people tell me, not hopeful put it that way.

Rooney & Saha up front?
Thomas KUZLAK, as he always does coz he can't pronounce it

Bet the lad is delighted after all this time his manager doesn't even know his name. Hence the lad will never be our no.1.

Nothing to do with the fact he's decidedly dodgy.

He can't say Nemanja properly, either.

Does anyone have the squad for tonight, btw?
