City already moving on to a 21 year old lB from anderlect who came from Barcelona’s academy.

Matter of days they’ve moved on from a target and onto another

Meanwhile United left with their pants pulled down over FDJ

Like United moved on from Timber to Martinez, or Phillips to De Jong…

Until we say we’re not in for De Jong, it’s between him coming here or staying at Barca imo.

Timber turned United down. Weeks before Martinez arrived. He’s also a RB , completely different player . Highly doubt it was a case of move on to them next target in the same position. They #@&%!ed the RB transfer up and then had to move on to the CB Martinez transfer

They were never going for Kevin Phillips , if you look at the players ETH has been in for they’re all either Dutch, played for Ajax or have a certain level of technical ability. They were never in for Kevin Phillips.

They wanted Timber as a CB, asked if he fancied it, he said no, they moved on, found out Martinez fancied it and bought him instead. It’s exactly the same you dolt

They were after Phillips, got in touch, the lad said no chance, by which time we’d been told FDJ was possibly available and moved swiftly on to him.

In both cases negotiations took time but were done well before the start of the season. The reason FDJ isn’t here is because of Barca. Simple and plain.

Good player but that is a ludicrous fee

Not far off what we’d be paying Barca for FDJ

That’s crazy.

He’s been good when ever I’ve seen him but that fee is madness.

Brighton fancy Brandon Williams to replace Cucurella, £15m was mooted, I’m saying £20m if they’re getting £60m for the Cucurella..

Confusing one. They have Chillwell in that position? Injured regularly but one of best when fit? Be expecting Prime Dani Alves for that kind of money on a full back
