Of all the dragged out sagas, only berbs and rvp worked out. I don't even remember rvp being a drawn out thing either. before that the last successful one was roy keane.

in my estimation, one of every 5 sagas end up with united getting the player.

TBF for all the shit ones we have had there has been a few gems in there, the signings of RVP and Mata were pretty

Van Persie wasn't really a dragged out saga; certainly not compared to the likes of Thiago, Sneijder, Hazard.

Tbh, this one hasn't even dragged on either. Vidal has been at the World Cup and on holiday. If it gets sorted this week, then it would have been a very efficient process.

Thiago was the worst for me.
