If the Qatari's do win watch Ratcliffe go off and buy a club he can actually afford, in the championship.

This will still continue to drag on. The glazers suck the £#%&!ing life out of everything. We can’t even enjoy signings because they drag it out to the point nobody gives a £#%&! anymore and the same with the sale. Bored as £#%&!

7 million share traded so far today vs 1.9 mill average daily volume, and a hike of 7% suggests a lot of people aren't following Ben's news.

If people thought it was anywhere near a done deal it would be up over $30 a share because the Qataris will be paying $32+.

It’s currently around the $25.

It’s obviously looking more and more like Qatar, hence the rising price. But it’s nowhere near confirmed, or the market would not be leaving that kind of easy money on the table.

The Qataris are still trying to negotiate exclusivity, the deal still seems a good way off.

Once the deal is agreed in principle there is a hell of a lot of work to do and no buyer will undertake that without a clear path.

Probably will be if they’re waiting for the Glazers to respond.

Still, Reuters aren’t the Daily Mail, so let’s hope something is happening. At least Qatar is showing some intent to get it done. Don’t think they’ll take too kindly at the leeches dragging their feet yet further. Looks like things are moving.
