Especially as one of them was clearly outside the area, tremendous subterfuge. Add in the fact he didn't give us a single free kick in the first half and you can see just what a superb ruse it was.

I know, if Spuds win on Saturday to go 3 points behind them then for the 1st time in my life I may in fact consider cheering for the scouse £#%&!wits on monday night, makes me feel all cold and dark just thinking about it though :shiver:

tbh we all thought spurs wouldn't get past the qualifiers and even though they got humiliated last night getting to a quarter final wasn't too bad considering how they were a bunch of nobodies as far as madrid, inter and milan were concerned.

i can still remember 10 years ago when lids scum got into the champions league and we thought the same thing, the dirty sheep£#%&!gers wouldn't do anything. ended up in the semis as it happens

point is, like citeh, lids and spurs are two clubs with a tendency to £#%&! it up and they both had good runs without the ridiculous money the tache @#%&!s have. i fear that if they get into the champions league they will have a good run, will attract good players with their money and basically we'll see an end to "ickle ciddeh"

bad times but then knowing them they'll concentrate entirely on the champions league and their league form will suffer as a result. now i'm not a praying man but...
