I bet City would've handed him over for even less money than they sold him to Chelsea for, seeing as we're from the same city and that.

I was thinking he's like Modric but the best comparison so far is Seedorf. Seedorf was incredibly slow though. Kobe isn't fast but he's not that slow.

He’s surprisingly strong for such a diddy fella. Uses his body well to protect the ball and steal possession. And as wild as Casemiro is, he still reads the game well and you can see that benefitting Mainoo. He looks better with Casemiro, Shaw and Martinez there. They all do tbf. Those three make such a difference to us.

Well smart arse, we would have got him for less than 87 £#%&!ing million.

Seedorf wasn't slow ffs I know what you mean with the modric vibes though. Interesting one. Hadn't thought of that previously.

How do you know that? I just can't see City selling to us when there's another team interested AND they're in the middle of spending over a billion.

Question

Championship manager had his pace at 11 and 12 in different versions so that’s that settled.

He was neither fast nor slow.

Watched it back about 100 times. The way he skips and turns to find space is just magical. You can't teach that. He's the real deal.

Reminiscent of Martial’s debut goal against Liverpool. A promising sign of things to come

Thank you!!

He looks fantastic, in fact, not sure I've ever seen a young lad be so good so quickly - but lets not get carried away and too giddy.
