"Moyes has already exerted some influence over his new club according to sources who say he played a key role in Ferdinand agreeing a one-year contract extension to stay at United next season."

First bit of work done

Really? Not Moyes bashing but some of the articles coming out are complete nothing pieces. They can't get anything of substance.

This one's a gem:

This bit sums it up:
Quote:
The central defender, who enjoyed his best ever season for United according to Ferguson, tweeted a picture of himself, Morris and another friend before they flew, writing: "Here we go!!!!! Me @morriskid + @boysiewise11 are ready! A-Team."
- quick we need an article about united, anything will do, just do quote twitter... Oh ffs

Read Phelan is having a meeting with Moyes this week about his future. Apparently going to wear a suit and everything

I'm not sure they do, I think they have grudgingly begun to include it. That OT banner with all the shields on is a £#%&!ing joke.

It's only since the sponsorship thing kicked into overdrive that it's even been included in the official records afaik. It certainly was never anything other than a friendly until pretty recently ...

Ferguson never counted it as part of the season proper, it was always just one of the last practices matches before the season starts ...

On the same theme, only 23k turned up for the Super Cup in 91, and United were clearly stunned by how seriously Lazio took it in 99 as well. And the English media virtually refuse to acknowledge the World Club Championship/Inter-Continental/World Club Cup even now, although doubtless that will change if anyone other than United win it at some point ...

A manager who has already got his players going to the PFA with complaints and a player who has shown up in what 3 matches.

She supports Sunderland, of course. Not that that has anything to do with it, obviously.

yes indeed.

The problem is that nobody wants to act like the scousers with Hodgson, and yes most of us remember the 80s (or much further back in some cases).

So we're trying to put a brave face on things but deep down we know that Moyses wasn't the right man and never will be (obviously I hope to be proved wrong though).

But we're United fans and we don't boo the team and we don't call for the manager's head.

What to do?

Moyes is the incorrect appointment and everyone knows that. We're only prolonging the inevitable surgery which is required to cut off that cancer and survive. When Moyes retires the only major trophy (that also ain't major) will be the community shield.
