Maybe not, but i think if they go out of the cl early, it would have left them a free run at piling the points up in the league, without any distractions late on,

But it means they have to play their best team 4 days before facing us whilst our reserves get a practice match in Rome.

Anyhoo - Marseille will make it difficult for them. 4-1 flattered the shit flingers tonight.

Bizarre scoreline at the end, Porto had most of the game, shame they didn't put them to the sword.

Liverpool have looked really ordinary in really big games this season, long may it continue, if they play like they did tonight and v Arsenal against us surely we will get goals.

BTW, nothings changed in terms of the group, Liverpool still need to win at Marseille and by more than a goal(head to head record applies).

Oh I know but they've got a pretty decent squad nowadays so if Rafa rotates for CL and then the game against us they'll have enough for both matches. Not saying they'll win both, Torres is starting to look sharp though.
