He's provided stability in the midfield since the Crystal Palace blow out.

He was as you point out, responsible for Newcastle's first goal, but he also double timed it to clean up AWB's mess up.

Am I advocating for him to be resigned in the summer no, am I seeing glimpses of the potential that the club was hoping for, yes.
