I saved myself, as I was aware that it could all be for nought if we didn't go on and win the cup, for which we were still huge underdogs.

I sat there quietly, contemplating modern football, while everyone around me was going mental. They seemed to enjoy themselves which was nice, but in hindsight I feel my decision was the correct one. I would have looked a right idiot if i'd celebrated that goal and then we'd lost in the final! haha. GGMU.
