Meet the new guy, just like the last guy. £#%&!ing tiresome. Fold the club.

Be nice to sign a forward in their 20s, not gonna lie...

So that’s forwards, midfielders and a rb? Good thing the season doesn’t start in a couple of days

Literally thought the season started next week but, no, it's this weekend.

The squad is threadbare but filled with shit that’s just stuck.

If we go into the season having shifted Bailly, Telles, Jones, Tuanzebe, Ronaldo, Chong and having got the young uns out on loan it will be fantastic news.

Desperately scour the globe and buy the right players in Jan. Assuming FDJ and Sesko don’t happen. In fact, do that anyway…

How is it great news when we are languishing in 10th place with a threadbare squad and ETH ready to leave us to return to Holland manage Go Ahead Eagles?

Because they won’t play and are clogging up the squad/wage bill.

As long as the numbers look good on the balance sheet, eh...

I kind of get what you are saying but you forgot to say: "...in addition to another three signings..."

I’m assuming they don’t know who to buy. Hence the identify and buy in Jan bit.

Liverpool have done entire seasons with the same front 3, if we have to go into the season with the bare bones, it’s probably better than clogging the squad up with more shit.

Probs need to check them all for Asthma though tbf.

What signs are there that any of those players are close to leaving?

Even if they did, what is left? Certainly not a squad capable of competing in any competition. As soon as anyone is injured from the first XI we'll be £#%&!ed.

If we're lucky we'll get FDJ and some panic buy striker. Unless EtH is the second coming of Fergie this is going to be a truly horrific season. I'm surprised he hasn't already quit tbh.

I genuinely think the suits have decided it's a great "engagement" strategy to initiate these transfer sagas every summer. Endless tweets, column inches etc about £#%&! all.

It certainly doesn't save any money because we always end up paying the full asking price anyway. It can only be to create "content" in the Manchester United soap opera.

Clearly the impact on the football team itself is a long way down the list of priorities

it just came to me... its been going on longer than that...

falcao then ibrahimovich then ighalo then Cavani and finally Ronaldo.

at a push you could put rvp in there as well.

(go further back and you'll find Owen and that Swedish #@&%! Larson)

who was the last striker we bought under 25 ? chicharito?

we've neglected our midfield and forward line for years.

but love to sign a defender.

Lukaku and Martial are the only strikers we’ve bought in their 20’s since RvP, who was 29

I think that’s right

I wouldn't play Ronaldo. He's just going to complain for 90 minutes and Bruno won't do anything except try hit wonder balls to his god.

He's a god to bruno and dalot that's why they were 50% of the other early leavers. They adore the guy.
