Very cheeky post imo given your turnaround. Honestly think you've shown a lot less consistency on this issue. You went all in on the manager and defended the likes of Darmian etc until '16, since when you've decided players actually have a lot of responsibility.

Meanwhile I slag Pogba, Sanchez, Martial (last season) etc probably more so than I slagged players under LvG. I'm sick of most of them.

Not really. Criticised players and manager under Moyes, players and manager under van Gaal and players and manager under Mourinho. The difference is I didn’t try to pin it purely on one side to please my confirmation bias. If it seemed as though I was picking on vG more it’s probably because I was replying to you.

I'm pretty sure you were giving it the "these players will improve under another manager" etc when I was saying Darmian and Schneiderlin are a bit shite.

Would be much, much easier for me to go down that road with Pogba, Sanchez etc. But if anything I go at them harder because of their talent.

He was utter shit under van gaal. A big time Charlie @#%&! who couldn’t handle the pressure. Not the best combination for a united player. Maybe being shunted out of united served as a kick up the arse. Or maybe he’s just comfortable at that level and standard of football.
