Yeah, good career choice that.

Don't give two hoots either way to be honest as he is very 'meh'. "Oh he can pass a ball, he's the future..."
What' idiotic point are you making ?

SOME of uTD'S greatest players played for 'shit countries' with no hope of getting to play in a major tournament

Denis,George and Ryan did alright with their careers

Their careers are based on their club football. Internationals are incidental, sure they can increase a player's profile if they're already on the up - though we've seen with most England players it tends to have the opposite effect.

Ok, Alex McLeish, let's turn it round, why is playing for Scotland over England a better CAREER move?

Don't be so sure.

When England crash out to Tellytubby Land in the World Cup this summer it'll be his fault for being a traitor to the nation.

Works pretty well for United -- no chance of him being at at tournament so he'll be nice and fresh for whatever ridiculous money-spinning pre-season tour the Glazers send us on

And he might fetch an extra half million or so when Utd inevitably sell him on to Stoke if he puts in some semi-decent displays in the pre-season shop window/tour.

absolutely diabolical tonight. Shouldn't be starting for United at this stage imo. We desperately need another beast in centre mid.
