Meh-cTominay. Great to see a youth product in the first XI, but personally I haven't seen anything to be wowed by.

Seems like a Steady Eddie, with a good level of maturity, but if this is the very best our Academy is producing then it's hardly exciting.

Also, I have very little confidence that he'll get as many games next season - fully expect Mourinho to upgrade that midfield spot in the summer with another ridiculously overpriced purchase.

Completely let Willian go for the goal, which seemed to escape everyone's attention. Very inexperienced which is an excuse, but he'll need to learn fast under Mou. Great to see an academy prospect getting a chance, but not overly convinced he's got enough.

You’re never going to be able to tell after a handful of games. Yeah he £#%&!ed up for the goal, but he wasn’t alone and hopefully he’ll learn. We need to start being bolder in giving academy kids a chance ahead of players we know are not the future, like Fellaini and Valencia.

As an aside, do you ever expect to see a Valencia cross reach a United head? How can that be possible? It was his shit cross, again, that gave them the opportunity to break for the goal. Woeful, utterly woeful.

He did, it was mentioned, but Willian went beyond the deepest man he could see, so was offside, unfortunately Valencia was inexplicably 15 yards deeper playing Willian on, on his blind side

Shit Valencia cross led to their goal. Woeful in the final third that lad. Give it Timmy next season

Harsh but ultimately fair. Played his part today though, and spoke well after the game.

It’s what Valencia does. He’s not a full-back, yet here he still is...

It’s almost as though we don’t take right back seriously.

Can’t cross. Can’t cut inside. Invariably out of position. Why is this still happening?

Aside from Rafael's great season in 12-13 and Wes in 07-08, it's been a problem position for us for well over a decade.

Since Neville. At least we had Pat at LB until a couple of years ago, but RB- what is going on? Can’t be right.

Rafael looked a good successor to Neville, but after he didn't work out LvG got the Darmian thing wrong. Valencia a steady deputy for a year or two but it's time to move on now. Should be scanning the globe for a the best right-back to step in, or give Mensah some faith.

The Scottish Player did an a fine job today. Could have done better with the goal, Pogba @#%&!ing out of a header started that but generally he neutralized Hazard. Hazard did some lovely things today but they were all bar that 30 yards from goal not hurting us, and was a big part in Smalling and Lindelof being confident in looking to win the ball aggressively high up the picth.

no-one missed that. it was a huge obvious mistake and he'll know it.

In fact I’ll wager he’ll learn to track runners before Pogba learns to jump for headers.

Just watched it again on Motd2 and tbf to the lad he didn't track Willian as he went to close down Hazard who had the ball. It was the wrong choice of course but he'll hopefully learn from it.

Today is the first time I've heard him talk.

I'm convinced he's a robot.

Yes.

The suggestion seems to be that he failed to track willian like he couldn't be arsed. He just chose to go to Hazard. Which was wrong.

A better error than laziness or switching off.

The lad is no world beater, but with us crying out for an extra pair of legs to free up Matic and Pogba, he's sort of exactly what we need right now.

Over the course of this week, he's been our best player.
