Default Priority positions in transfer window

Other than central defence & goalkeeper we need strengthening in every single position.
Which is the biggest priority ?

A winger who can cross a ball without hitting the first object put in his path.

Like draggers said, Mahrez would fit the bill

Mahrez is another fair weather fanny. He'd do nothing here.

A deep sitting midfielder to release Pogba and a proper winger who can cross should be the priorities. The full backs will have to wait until summer,

Going by Mourinho's comments we won't be signing any one in January and will only be making 2-3 signings in the summer...

CM and a winger or two are priorities.

Do we have scouts anymore, or can we only bid for players that are already well known? It'd be nice to find some young, talented players, that are hungry to succeed, rather than some overpaid bottle job. Unfortunately it's not the Mourinho way though.

the priority is not players, it's getting the best out of our players. we have good players. what we don't have is a good plan.

2 x full backs, centre mid and right winger.

Won't get a single one.

This. We're playing with no fluidity. There have been glimpses of what the team could be doing (Arsenal away) but we're slipping into a rut again - similar to last season and draws against dross. The Citeh result has knocked them big time along with conceding late on at Leicester.

The failure of Lukaku to have impact is a big deal as Mou staked a lot on this signing. No one is even arsed how long he could now be out for. Bring in some width and maybe we can get more out of him.

But the team lack conviction and belief and identity right now

I'd like to see the players we've got coached properly - gameplan, courage, confidence, movement, tempo etc...

I wouldn't trust a man who rates Fellaini so highly with 3quid never mind 300mill or whatever he's bleating on about.

Two natural wingers and full backs would be nice

With the title gone why not just stick Shaw in for ten games and see how it goes?

Signing several players in the winter window when we don’t have a shot at the title would be quite stupid, surely?

Rest of the season should be giving certain players a make or break run. For Mourinho, Shaw and Martial would top the list.

Maybe get another midfielder or wide player if the right options arise.

I don't understand what it is with the need of wingers, defence and midfielders what we really need is another RVN etc. who are the midfielders and wingers going to set up now
get a reliable scorer and outscore the opposition. Face it that is what Liverpool are doing now and breathing down our neck.

We're running Matic into the ground because Carrick's done in.

Same with Lukaku because Zlatan's done in.

So there's two priority positions.

Agree with Siders that Mou has to let certain players sink or swim. Give arseholes like MikiT an uninterrupted run of games.

And tbf to Mou, he has said that players on the bench haven't had time to get into a groove. Well, now's their chance.

God help us.

The more any of our lads play the more demoralised and scrappy their play becomes.

He needs a loan and a change of environment to get back to a decent level. Not happening in Mourinho's misfiring and sulky team.
