We got 3 out of 4 targets. Decent. Clubs rarely get wjat they want.

Problem is too few targets and not enough exits.

The 1st 4 out for me have to be Darmian, Herrera , Rojo & Blind . In that order . Then either Mata or MickyT, & possibly Shaw if we can get decent money for him. Zlatan goes in the Summer . Thats 6 players out, bring up Axel for Rojo . Use Martial as stand in/ competition for Lukaku . That leaves us short 2 FB's , a central midfielder & a right winger.

In order

Darmian
Rojo
Fellaini
Blind
Herrera
Young
Zlatan
Smalling
Mata (very reluctantly)

I'd get rid of Lukaku but that won't happen ...and

List ranges from shit to decent lads but as long as they stay they're holding back a youth product or a potential new signing

Don't buy this idea that we won't shift them either. United players are always wanted. Just need to take cut price fees.

Young isn’t in the same category as the rest. He’s capable, works his socks off and can play in about five positions. That’s gold from a squad player.

He's done well. Respect him reinventing himself but if rather have an actual full back there.

Suppose it he's happy to be back up.

Yes, can not see Young as an issue at all. Best crosser of a ball in the squad, can play any of the wide roles, can not feature for long spells but still come in ready to go. Valencia as a back up if we can secure a top quality young RB would be a position of strength for the club as well.

We have these discussions about clear outs every season but they are never as extensive as some want them to be. You need some level of stability in the squad and 2-3 key changes can make a huge difference in lifting the level of the rest.

should be using tuanzers and timmeh. we're overloaded with pointless attacking midfielders and yet our strikers mostly have to create their own chances. change the shape of the team.

Maybe. If.. if... clubs vascillitating over fee losses, players over wage losses...

Not going to happen quickly much as we’d like it

Would take a few windows yeah .... problem is we don't eben seem keen to shift most of them.

Lindelof coming should have seen one of Smalling Jones Rojo gone.... no.

He doesn't like any of our left backs..he doesn't like Darmian. So get rid. Had a whole season to decide he doesn't rate them. There would be buyers for all of them.

The problem with letting Darmian , Shaw & Herrera go is that we need replacements immediately . No depth in those areas at all

None are first eleven starters. Selling them means we then sign players of requisite quality to play for our club.

Darmian wouldn't need replacing at all.

Valencia, young, tuanzebe, Lindelof.

Tbf, while you may be right, we’re basing these judgements on significantly less information than the manager.

Didn’t take you long to bring him back into the fold.

no united manager has picked a balanced team recently. possibly why/because we are overloaded with pointless attacking midfielders.

I would have kept schweini ahead of any of them.
