Asian Death Crustacean and Poly-Math later in Camden. Pretty certain I'll be the oldest there by about thirty years

Father John Misty next week in Hammersmith, not convinced that's the best venue but looking forward to it immensely.

Fuck me. They're the support so I'll hang in the bar while they're on, preferably a bar down the road

Thumbs up

Van Morrison at the Birmingham Symphony Hall last week. Absolutely sublime.

Did a few Blues numbers from his most recent album, but the set was largely made up of his older classics. He did a rendition of Vanlose Stairway that is the best I've ever heard; blew me away.

Grumpy as ever, which just adds to his charm, IMO. Switched seamlessly between saxophone, guitar, keyboard and harmonica, and his band were excellent, too. He came on, delivered, and walked off partway through his last song still playing the harmonica as he was heading out the door.

The man is a musical God. 10/10.
