You'd do better eating a locally sourced chicken than a load of unseasonal veg flown halfway across the world so you can feel smug.

onions, carrots, leeks, spuds - available at the local farmers market all year round mate. My smug is legit.

Ma Plucker in (arf) Beak Street is decent although I've always been mildly pickled (from the Sun and 13 Cantons opposite) when I've been in there so I may not be the best judge
