Default Building a website

I've got a few domain names and want to build the sites one at a time - have looked at some of the hosting sites e.g. 1 &1 but could do with advice on

best software to build the site(s)

best way to host

looking forward to a stack of abuse.

If you’re technically competent, Joomla offers more functionality but Wordpress is easier to get to grips with. Use either and you’ll be fine.
