The atmosphere that night was electric, one of the first games I went to on my own.

Ince was my favourite player at that time, his Liverpool move has tainted him for a lot of people but he was a great player for Utd, better than Keane at that stage imo. Keane developed into the better of the 2 but for the 2 years they played together Ince was the senior figure. Obvious rivalry between them was a big part of the aggressive edge that side had.

Such an old fashioned side in some ways, 2 box to box midfielders, 100mph at all times.

Got in a fight the next day at the trainstation on the way to school over lee sharpe's goal and questioned sexuality.
