missed two at the death, planted a header straight at the keeper from 5 yards out then managed to miss the ball completely from the same distance

Wolves were down the moment they sacked McCarthy. Such a mad decision given that he's a proven manager in getting teams promoted.

Yep, I still can't fathom it. It's not as if the players had stopped playing for him ala AVB; they were all still committed. Sacking him with nobody to replace him has cost them. I just hope that rumour linking Ole with them isn't true.
