If we're at all concerned for world peace (we're not) we need to look at chillaxing the nuclear strength powder keg that is Pakistan.

Invading their neighbours was a bad move, carrying out illegal bombing raids within their borders also bad.

Moving out of Afghanistan, allowing self-determination, probably the best move in a fucked up situation: certainly the proper one.

It's not the U.S.'s role to 'free' the middle east, but they could certainly help by sticking their fucking beaks back in.

And speaking of not pissing off Pakistan with bombing raids...

Quote:
Pakistan has accused Nato of killing up to 28 soldiers in an attack on an army checkpoint in the north-west of the country, and responded by shutting a vital supply route for coalition troops in Afghanistan.

Islamabad's foreign ministry condemned the helicopter attack, which it said happened at 2am local time on Saturday in the Baizai area of Mohmand, where Pakistani troops are fighting Taliban militants.

Nato helicopters "carried out unprovoked and indiscriminate firing" on the Salala checkpoint, killing up to 28 troops and wounding 11, military officials said.
9/11 the sequel, coming to a casus belli near you.
