Direct, some great crosses and laid the ball off when it was needed. Nearly scored a stunning goal too. He has a great amount of quality; he has been hit and miss at times, but he looked much more confident today. I'd have him playing every week.

Very interesting.

Rooney is doing well in the goalscoring charts this year but his IS NOT a natural number 9.

I think a RVN would be on 20 goals already this year, plenty good service coming in front the flanks these days.
