The Return of JC

Exclamation Hull have bid £7m for Campbell!

Yowser!

That's silly money for a kid. Hull chairmans says it dependent on Berbatov move.

I dont think Ferguson will let him go. Not right now anyway, even if we get Berbatov, would still leave us 4 recognised strikers. Manucho injured. Unless Ferguson has 2 people joining.

He'll be off for that money.

Tevez, Rooney, Berbatov, and Manucho it is. With Welbeck coming through of course, handed the 19 shirt for this season..maybe an indication that he'll get a chance?

Not too bad at all. Seeing as we play with one striker

I think he will.

Phil Brown has been very coy about him. If Fergie was definitely keeping him, he would've told Hull and Brown would say the deal is dead.

£7m is too good to turn down even if Berbatov doesn't come. As much as I'd like him to well here, I don't think Campbell has enough potential to succeed at the top level.

Good player though and I hope he goes to Hull and does well for them.

Surely common sense says we should only let them have him on a seasons loaner then re-evaluate this time next year.

Just shows how stupid money as gotten in football if Hull can pay £7m for a player. It wasn't long ago I remember them going to Rochdale shaking their buckets 'cos they were locked out of their ground.

Good £#%&!ing lord.

SELL SELL SELL

His real worth is probably 1 or 2 milli. And here we've got a chance of £7m. How the £#%&! is he worth that much? He's average, he's 20 now and I don't see anything special in him, just like I didn't see anything special in him 2 years ago. Just another run of the mill player from our academy.

Seriously, it's bizarre isn't it?

City just bought a top class olympic gold winning Argentine right back for less from Espanyol.

English players are so overhyped it's untrue. World is going madder.

Only Carrick and Rooney are worth the big fees paid in the last 4 years.

Like the rumoured 10 mill bid for Evans, if offered it would be accepted. Not good enough for Utd IMO, decent pace but not much else.

Utd have done well in recent years on transfers out.

Richardson 5mill
Heinze 8 mill?
Pique 6 mill
Rossi 6.5 mill
Smith 6 mill

£7m is sensible money for Hull in reality

Campbell did more than most to get them promoted and would slot straight back in

His goals have already guaranteed them £60m is it? And financial backing to have a good stab at promotion next season should they need it to keep the cash cow rolling.

Campbell is a great buy for Hull, but £7 million is £#%&!ing bananas. The lad is a £1 million transfer at most.
