best player to never have a proper song
the Becks documentary made me realise that we never had anything for him except the generic "there's only one..." chant which doesnt count..same for Bryan Robson..
criminal considering some of the utter dross who have had proper terrace bops. can't remember us ever singing anything for schmeichel or Ferdinand either. seems a relatively new concept so I'm obviously discounting older players. can any historians on here recall the first united player to have had their own personal song? also, off the top of my head I can't think of any of the current squad who's name is regularly sung. |
