refs are shit. var is fine, except for the ref part.

sucked the instant joy out of the game - it's so inconsistent - might as well have refs being inconsistent.

Offsides and handballs only, set clear guidelines.

Or fanny about for three years with arbitrary decisions making things worse as time goes on.

It’s replaced one fallible system with another fallible sytem. And it’s much harder (and less enjoyable/fulfilling) to deilver invective to a remote “authority” than a poor soul running about in shorts in front of you and 70,000 others. So it’s a “no” from me Clive.

Again the problem's from the refs.
The one's on the pitch or the one's in the booths.
They are ALL crap/corrupt.
Nothing to do with VAR.

Have you ever reffed a game? Probably the most thankless task there is. (I may exaggerate a bit, but you should get the point.)

That's no excuse. If it's 'thankless' do something else.

£#%&!ing shite. The best thing about football is celebrating a goal, this takes away from it. Bin.

Fine. You do it. In case you are wondering I am not a ref, but have done it when pressed (by parents who then take great offence at any decision you take)

Are the refs on the Continent as abjectly £#%&!ing useless with VAR as the clowns we have to put up with are?

I'm sure the Bundesliga games I used to watch were reffed far better than the PL games.

Or that might just be my memory playing tricks on me.

I feel like we see even worse decisions now yet they're less excusable.

Celebrating a goal has lost some of its edge too as you just never know whether or not its going to be reviewed.

You have it in some comps and not the others meaning different rules re the fkn rules.

I'd be happy if it went.

It's meant to be clear and obvious mistakes. VAR should get 20 seconds and two angles to overturn the decision or it isn't clear and obvious.

It isn't the technology, it's the way it's being used.

Used properly with clear and sensible rules and it'd be good.
