Can see us getting Veloso and I think Carrick will be the make-weight.Probably back to Spurs.

Since the emergence of Anderson and the fact that Hargreves looks like he might stay fit for more than two weeks (), I think Carrick is the odd man out.I wouldn't like to see him go, I rate the lad.

It's less unthinkable to me after I heard Queiroz say that we want Veloso 'incase we sell someone'*.

Carrick has no value to the team at present.
He cant pass forward.
Cant carry the ball forward.
Cant tackle.

Pre March last seaosn he was poor, he then had 3 good months, now has gone back to his pre-March form.
Fergie gave him a %@#$&!ing after Reading at home, asked did he still have the fight now he has his winners medal.

Veloso wont come till the summer, hes cup tied anyway for Europe.
So £12 million for Carrick in the summer would be a good bit of business.

For what it's worth, if we got offered £15/18million for Carrick, I would take it. Hargo and Anderson are the future and Veloso would be the back up if Queiroz is to be believed. Shame as he is a good player.
